“I’m honored to have the support of the Stamford Fire Fighters Association, IAFF Local 786. As a prosecutor, I worked closely with the brave men and women of our law enforcement and public safety communities. I have the utmost respect for the work they do to protect the public, and I know the risks they face every day on the job. I will stand up for them and all working families as our next Attorney General,” said former Assistant United States Attorney Chris Mattei.

“We’re familiar with some of the candidates in this race, and our leadership has decided overwhelmingly to support Chris Mattei for Attorney General. Chris is the guy who stands with you in the toughest fights, and who isn’t afraid to do what is right,” said Brendan Keatley, President of the Stamford Professional Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 786, the local affiliate of the IAFF, representing over 300,000 professional fire fighters and paramedics in the United States and Canada.

“Chris organized hospital workers as a young man, so we know that Chris will be a champion for working families, that he will work to ensure consumer protections and will defend the rights of workers. As a prosecutor, Chris fought corruption and stood shoulder to shoulder with our public safety community every day. Professional fire fighters trust each other to watch each other’s back when our lives are on the line, we know Chris has our back, and we’re proud to have his.”
